- ➤ Local charities are hosting holiday drives this December to help families in need. Donations for toys, toiletries, and food items are accepted at events such as the Boys and Girls Brigade in Neenah and CASA of the Fox Cities, with some drives ending Dec. 31+ others having varying drop off dates. EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Froedtert ThedaCare is adding 56 townhouses as on-campus housing for medical residents starting summer 2026; the first phase will include two buildings next to ThedaCare Medical Center (Neenah) with attached garages to help residents stay close to their training. WOSH-AM
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Appleton experienced a record-breaking snowstorm — the strongest in recorded history — when heavy snowfall shattered a record that had held since 1909. The event marks an extraordinary winter moment for the community. Post-Crescent
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Froedtert ThedaCare is building housing on campus for medical residents at the ThedaCare Medical Center-Neenah. About 56 townhouse units will be built on Doty Island in two phases, with the first 28 set to finish by summer 2026 (supporting its graduate medical education program). WBAY

- ➤ The UW-Oshkosh Titans earned their first NCAA Division III Women’s Volleyball Championship spot in 31 years by winning in three straight sets over Trinity University on Thursday night. They will play either University of La Verne or Berry College on Saturday. WOSH-AM
