GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Appleton Common Council approved a new truancy ordinance by a 9-6 vote on Wednesday night—designed to issue $250 tickets to high school students who miss school, with fines waived if they return and the trial running through the 2025-26 school year.
