- ➤ Appleton’s Octoberfest kicked off Saturday morning on College Avenue with live music, over 200 vendors, and a variety of German beers including classic brews like Spaten Oktoberfest—attendees enjoyed food, drinks, and local activities throughout the day. The festival began on Friday with a License to Cruise event featuring classic cars and live music that set the tone for the weekend celebration. WOSH-AM
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Wisconsin law allows kids under 21 to enter bars if they are with a parent, guardian or spouse but each establishment can set strict rules and face fines up to $500 for unlawful entry—minors entering alone may also incur penalties. Post-Crescent
