- ➤ On Sunday, the Cleveland Browns rallied from a 10—0 deficit to beat the Green Bay Packers 13—10 after rookie Andre Szmyt kicked a 55-yard field goal as time expired, snapping an eight-game losing streak. The Packers lost the game when a blocked field goal and key injuries affected their play. WOSH-AM
- ➤ Runners competed in the Community First Fox Cities Marathon on Sunday — John Thill finished the marathon in 2:39:21 while Appleton resident Relena Ribbons won the women’s race in 3:07:00. The three-day event also featured a half marathon, 5k, and kid fun-run, and nearly 1800 volunteers helped support the races. WOSH-AM
