BUSINESS NEWS

  • Costco is recalling Kirkland Signature Prosecco Valdobbiadene because the bottle may shatter even when not used; buyers in Wisconsin who purchased unopened bottles from April 25 to August 26 should wrap them in paper towels and put them in a plastic bag before discarding them—if they want a refund they must bring the recall letter to the nearest Costco.  WOSH-AM
  • Since the beginning of September, Appleton vape shops cut their inventory by around 80 percent due to a new state law that mandates FDA approval for vape products—reducing options from over 200 flavors to 39 and causing shops to lose thousands daily.  NBC 26

  • Two area teachers are facing backlash over social media posts about Charlie Kirk's death; one in the Rosendale-Brandon School District is on paid administrative leave while another at Oshkosh West is under informal criticism. HEALTH NEWS
