- ➤ Air Wisconsin is beginning its sale process to a Florida-based firm and will lay off 252 employees from its Appleton and Milwaukee operations—layoffs include 102 managers and 150 represented workers that will start on Oct 28 and are expected to be permanent. - ➤ Rudy Botz is the new principal at Little Chute Elementary School who worked in the district for 10 years and now focuses on helping staff and students build strong connections. He starts his day with a run with his wife and coaches high school cross-country — a role that lets him work closely with local kids. Post-Crescent
- ➤ Appleton Area School District said student seclusion dropped to 127 and physical restraint fell to 59 in 2024—25 from 347 and 121 the year before—mostly with students with disabilities. The district also gave teachers more training to help manage control issues. WHBY
