Air quality remains unhealthy in Wisconsin due to Canadian wildfire smoke, with ThedaCare emergency physician Dr. William Kumprey warning that even healthy people can get shortness of breath, eye irritation, and heart palpitations when pollution levels hit 150—200.

The doctor advised residents to monitor their symptoms as the summer continues.

ThedaCare acquired the Wisconsin Institute of Urology, the state’s largest independent urology practice, and became the majority owner of the Wisconsin Institute of Surgical Excellence, an ambulatory surgery center + all urology services will now be provided in ThedaCare facilities in Neenah, New London, Oshkosh, Shawano and Waupaca after the agreement took effect on August 1st. The expanded network will help deliver integrated, high-quality care for patients in northeast and central Wisconsin.
