- ➤ Fox Cities Stadium will host the Timber Rattlers Holiday Lights walk-through event from Nov. 14 through Jan. 3 with one million lights and a synchronized music and lights show occurring every 20 minutes—guests can enjoy firepits for s’mores, photo opportunities with Santa’s sleigh, a holiday train, and more with tickets starting at $12. - ➤ BFK Children’s Parade kicked off Children’s Week on Wednesday at Houdini Plaza in Appleton, as kids wore costumes on their floats. Families stayed for an after-party in City Park featuring food trucks, activities, and an awards ceremony (Children’s Week will run until Friday the 26th). WBAY

- ➤ A woman missing from La Crosse and originally from Hortonville was found dead in the Mississippi River near Brownsville, Minn just before 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning—La Crosse police said they are awaiting autopsy results to determine the cause of death. WBAY
- ➤ The family of missing Hortonville resident Eliotte Heinz posted on Viterbo University's Facebook page asking for help from anyone who may have seen her before her disappearance. They urge local residents in LaCrosse to check home security camera footage (2:00 to 6:00 AM on Sunday, July 20) and thank volunteers including a former Hortonville High School classmate. WHBY

- ➤ Fox Cities Stadium in Grand Chute will host the Timber Rattlers Holiday Lights (a walk-through event) from November 14 through January 3, 2026 with one million lights and music shows synced every twenty minutes. Visitors will enjoy holiday treats like s'mores, winter cocktails, and a holiday train ride while event hours range from 6 to 9 p.m. on weeknights and 5 to 9 p.m. on weekends. FOX 11

- ➤ Starting Friday, August 1, Valley Transit will use the new WisGo by Umo system so riders will pay no more than $4 per day or $60 per month regardless of how often they ride. Riders can load payments using a mobile app or reloadable card with credit + debit or Apple Pay + Google Pay, and buses will still accept cash. WBAY
