  • On Friday, July 18, the Neenah Police Department night shift visited a lemonade stand on Castle Oak Drive to support children running a charitable fundraiser. The children donated 50% of their earnings to Neenah Animal Shelter (a local charity) while taking part in dancing challenges with the officers.  WOSH-AM
  • Appleton girl Ash holds a lemonade stand on Walden Avenue to raise money for the search for a missing girl. Her family said the fundraiser will continue after 4:00 p.m. today if it is successful—supporting the search efforts.  WBAY
  • U.S. Venture Children’s Week, now in its 16th year, runs from July 20 through July 26 in Appleton—offering families free and reduced-cost activities such as a Kids Fun Run at Memorial Park, a Rock the Block Party at the YMCA, a Children’s Parade, and a playground fair. Local organizations add more events—like storytimes and swimming—to give every family fun choices throughout the week.  WOSH-AM

  • The family of missing Hortonville High School graduate Eliotte Heinz, 22, who studies at Viterbo, is asking anyone who saw her near the Mississippi River in La Crosse early on July 21 to call police+volunteers with any clues.  FOX 11

  • The 72nd EAA AirVenture convention in Oshkosh, held from July 21 to July 27, is underway and expected to draw over 700,000 visitors while boosting the Fox Valley economy by $257 million—making Wittman Regional Airport the busiest with 113 aircraft operations per hour.
