- ➤ An Outagamie County judge denied a retrial request from 23-year-old Alexander Kraus who is serving two life sentences for killing his grandparents in Grand Chute in 2019—he killed them after planning to shoot up Neenah High School to get their guns. WTAQ

- ➤ Outagamie County leaders broke ground on Brewster’s Dog Park on July 17th. The 10 acre park will have separate areas for large and small dogs, an agility training space, and an all-season restroom—officials say phase one is expected to finish by Memorial Day. WTAQ

- ➤ WTAQ hosted its annual Radiothon Friday to support local families coping with childhood cancer—$27,215 in call-in donations were raised to help with travel for treatments and other expenses, and the nonprofit continues to offer free monthly events for families in need. WTAQ
