ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ On Sunday, a residential fire in the 1200 block of South Herbert St. in Appleton caused about $20,000 in damage and left one resident with minor burns—firefighters confirmed the resident was safe and are investigating the cause. WBAY
- ➤ On Sunday a 70-year-old Missouri man riding a dirt bike crashed into a stopped vehicle near the Emery Lane and Woller Drive intersection in Vandenbroek — he was flown by ThedaStar to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries while the 34-year-old driver did not sustain injuries. WBAY
- ➤ Appleton fire officials said that multiple dumpster fires occurred overnight on July 4 due to leftover fireworks that were not properly soaked before disposal — one fire spread to a nearby structure and caused exterior damage. WTAQ
