- ➤ Three people were injured in a head-on crash on Rexford Road near Center Valley Road in the Town of Ellington Saturday, with an 84-year-old pickup truck driver from Shiocton suffering life-threatening injuries, a 68-year-old from Hortonville and a 59-year-old from Appleton taken to hospital, and an 11-year-old treated and released. - ➤ A head-on crash between two pickup trucks near Rexford Road and Center Valley Road in Ellington caused life-threatening injuries to an 84-year-old man from Shiocton and non-life threatening injuries to a 68-year-old driver from Hortonville and a 59-year-old passenger from Appleton — an 11-year-old was assessed and released while Rexford Road was closed for 3.5 hours and alcohol was not a factor. - ➤ An 84-year-old man from Shiocton was flown to a hospital with life-threatening injuries after a head-on collision between two pickup trucks near Rexford Road and Center Valley Road in Ellington at 11:50 a.m. on July 5—with two adults treated for non-life-threatening injuries and an 11-year-old left unhurt. - ➤ Appleton firefighters responded on July 4th to multiple dumpster fires started by improperly discarded fireworks—one fire quickly spread to a building's exterior but was controlled as firefighters returned from another call. WBAY
