ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Five people were rescued from Lake Poygan — a 40-year-old boat operator from Omro, a woman, and three juveniles — after a 911 call at 8:10 p.m. Sunday, June 22 reported their boat took on water when its engine shut off. FOX 11
- ➤ On Sunday at 8:10 p.m., first responders rescued five people from a fully submerged boat on Lake Poygan after mechanical issues caused the vessel to fill with water; paramedics evaluated the rescued 40-year-old man, woman, and three juveniles before releasing them. WHBY
- ➤ Winnebago County officials rescued five people from a boat that sank on Lake Poygan at 8:11 p.m. after mechanical issues caused the engine to shut down + all occupants, two adults and three juveniles, used coolers for flotation and were treated by EMS before being released. We Are Green Bay
