- ➤ On Tuesday morning, Fox Valley Technical College officials signed agreements that let students with an associate’s degree and 61 credits transfer to UW-Milwaukee or UW-Stevens Point to complete a bachelor’s degree with junior standing — UW-Milwaukee offers guaranteed admission and a minimum transfer of 60 credits while UW-Stevens Point provides access to over 70 bachelor’s programs. - ➤ A handwritten note transferring ownership of an Appleton bar to a wife saved its liquor license after officials voted to deny it over a co-owner’s past drunk driving conviction—City Council later approved the license with a condition that a formal ownership change is shown by the end of July.
