- ➤ 78-year-old Rosalie Polsin of Weyauwega had her bond set at $100,000 after being charged with Homicide by Negligent Operation of a Vehicle in a wrong-way crash on I-41 in November that killed 27-year-old Austin Luehring, and she will return to court on August 29. WBAY

- ➤ Officials at Fox Cities Performing Arts Center are filming a new sensory-inclusive video and invite Appleton residents to volunteer as extras—volunteers must dress as if attending an event and will work Tuesday, June 17, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.—and they will receive free food, drinks and professional headshots. - ➤ Appleton Area School District’s free summer meals program is underway, serving breakfast and lunch Monday through Friday at selected schools until July 3 (for example, at Badger and Colombus) and local families do not need to register. - ➤ Appleton’s Parks and Recreation Committee approved a plan to rename Appleton Memorial Park to Veterans Memorial Park; the proposal calls for new military memorials and relocating existing ones.
