- ➤ 21-year-old Dezman Ellis, who is serving a 40-year prison term for a January 31, 2021 Fox River Mall shooting when he was 17, filed a motion to withdraw his no-contest plea and will have an evidentiary hearing on July 24 in Outagamie County Court (he faces charges of 2nd-degree intentional homicide and 1st-degree reckless endangerment). - ➤ Yesterday, a wrongful death trial began in a case where Grace Schara’s family sued Ascension St. Elizabeth Hospital for allegedly listing the 19-year-old as a do-not-resuscitate (DNR) without consent and administering a lethal drug cocktail; the hospital denied the claims.
