- ➤ Firefighters responded to an early morning blaze at Bethel Assisted Living on Century Oaks Drive in Fox Crossing today — evacuating residents and containing damage to the building's exterior while investigating the cause with no injuries reported. WBAY

- ➤ Lawrence University's Community Council approved Patriots of Faith, the new Turning Point USA chapter, after months of debate and a failed referendum. The group now can request funding + begin campus outreach, and chapter president Zach Currier will work to build a lasting presence before he graduates in November. WTAQ
- ➤ The Appleton Area School District is accepting applications from community members to join its Financial Planning Advisory Group, which will meet with board officials 4-5 times between June and October to shape a five-year financial plan — applications must be submitted by June 6. WTAQ
