On Tuesday, the Lundgaard Love Foundation donated 25 bleeding control kit cabinets to the Appleton Area School District in honor of fallen firefighter Mitch Lundgaard.

Each cabinet holds six kits—tools like tourniquets and gauze—to help stop blood loss before first responders arrive.

Appleton Downtown Inc. will host the free Light the Night Market on May 16 from 5 to 10 p.m. along College Avenue between Superior and Durkee, featuring a Renaissance theme with sword swallowers, LARPing, maypole dancing and turkey legs.
