- ➤ On Tuesday, the Lundgaard Love Foundation donated 25 bleeding control kit cabinets to the Appleton Area School District in honor of fallen firefighter Mitch Lundgaard. Each cabinet holds six kits—tools like tourniquets and gauze—to help stop blood loss before first responders arrive. FOX 11

- ➤ Appleton Downtown Inc. will host the free Light the Night Market on May 16 from 5 to 10 p.m. along College Avenue between Superior and Durkee, featuring a Renaissance theme with sword swallowers, LARPing, maypole dancing and turkey legs. - ➤ Outagamie County officials lifted the slow-no-wake order for boat traffic today after spring flooding subsided, ending restrictions that started on April 1. Officials in Shiocton reported the Wolf River dropped below the action stage (9 feet) on Tuesday morning. WTAQ

- ➤ The town announced that the intersection of Casaloma Drive and Capitol Drive will become a four-way stop on Monday to improve driver safety—DOT will install temporary stop ahead signs as many drivers use the detour during I-41 construction. WTAQ
- ➤ Multiple ramps on I-41 in Kaukauna are closing this week as part of a multi-year plan to expand 23 miles of the interstate from four to six lanes between Grand Chute and De Pere. The Ballard Road interchange will see off-ramp closures from May 12th—today and a southbound on-ramp closure today, with additional northbound ramp closures beginning May 15th—drivers must follow posted detour routes.
