- ➤ On Saturday morning, community members held the Oneida Nation’s fifth annual MMIR Walk to honor missing Indigenous relatives and raise awareness of the crisis affecting Native communities—approximately 200 people participated by wearing red handprints and carrying signs with names and dates. The walk started at the Oneida Recreation Center and ended at the Turtle School where attendees shared a meal, listened to presentations, and reflected with music and prayer. WOSH-AM

- ➤ Early Saturday morning, Appleton Police investigated a motorcycle crash near the intersection of South Memorial Drive and Gmeiner Road that injured the sole rider—who was taken to a local hospital—with no evidence of impairment and no name released. WBAY
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ The Wisconsin Cryptids, Anomalies, and Paranormal Society is holding a paranormal convention in Appleton this weekend—organizers expect about 300 people will share their experiences and check out 32 vendors.
