On Saturday morning, community members held the Oneida Nation’s fifth annual MMIR Walk to honor missing Indigenous relatives and raise awareness of the crisis affecting Native communities—approximately 200 people participated by wearing red handprints and carrying signs with names and dates. The walk started at the Oneida Recreation Center and ended at the Turtle School where attendees shared a meal, listened to presentations, and reflected with music and prayer.
