- ➤ Rescuers freed an owl that was trapped in a car bumper after it collided with a vehicle last week in Appleton — workers fixed its twisted wing and held it warm until officers took it to a wildlife rescue where it is now recovering. WBAY

- ➤ Fox Crossing police confirmed Tuesday that the body of missing 19-year-old Diego Alejandro Ramirez, last seen on April 27 in Menasha, was found near the Racine Street off ramp from US 10 eastbound—and an investigation is ongoing with no signs of foul play. FOX 11
