- ➤ Former Appleton West High School teacher Rebecca Ryan appeared in court Thursday facing three felony counts of sexual assault for having sexual intercourse with a 17-year-old student between September 2017 and January 2018—a judge set a $50,000 cash bond, barred her from unsupervised contact with minors, and scheduled a preliminary hearing for May 6.
