➤ Former Appleton West High School teacher Rebecca Ryan appeared in court Thursday facing three felony counts of sexual assault for having sexual intercourse with a 17-year-old student between September 2017 and January 2018—a judge set a $50,000 cash bond, barred her from unsupervised contact with minors, and scheduled a preliminary hearing for May 6. ➤ Milan Stewart, 27, of Manitowoc, is charged in Outagamie County with stalking, fourth-degree sexual assault and disorderly conduct after a woman reported he grabbed her buttock during a walk on April 16 in Kimberly—he was previously convicted in 2015 for assaulting a woman on Newberry Trail in Appleton and served eight years in prison.
