  • Officials managing the I-41 Project report that the Ballard Road overpass in Appleton will close as early as April 28 and additional closures at Northland Avenue, Holland Road and other interchanges will affect travel from Grand Chute to De Pere through the summer. The project—aimed at expanding the highway to six lanes with new roundabouts, diamond intersections and auxiliary lanes—is set to continue until 2030 with many improvements reopening by fall and late summer.  Post-Crescent
