- ➤ New figures from the Legislative Fiscal Bureau show that Wisconsin residents contributed $36.1 million in marijuana taxes to Illinois and nearly $6 million to Michigan last year (with sales from border counties including Winnebago) as lawmakers plan to revisit legalization debates after the November election.
