- ➤ A 72-year-old woman and her 75-year-old passenger from Freedom were seriously injured after allegedly missing a stop sign and colliding with a pickup truck carrying Appleton residents at the intersection of CTY TK EE and Wege Road around 7:45 p.m. Saturday, April 19th—deputies said one child in the truck was treated for minor injuries. - ➤ Just before 8 p.m. on Saturday, a car and a pickup truck crashed at County Trunk EE and Wege Road in the Town of Center—seriously injuring a 72-year-old woman and a 75-year-old man from Freedom and causing minor injuries to one child in the truck while police said alcohol was not a factor. WBAY

- ➤ Sturgeon spawning is underway at several sites in northeast Wisconsin — DNR reports note spawning at Princeton Dam on the upper Fox River and Bamboo Bend on the Wolf River. Other spots show fish staging at the Peshtigo Dam while no spawning is seen near the Shawano Dam or at the De Pere Dam. FOX 11
