Good morning, Appleton.

Flooding continues to affect Fox Cities as evacuation orders and road closures remain in place, with a shelter at Hortonville High School available for displaced residents—volunteers are needed for sandbag operations to protect low-lying areas in nearby communities.

Village officials in Shiocton say the Wolf River has dropped to 15 feet, but residents must remain evacuated until safety checks confirm streets and infrastructure are secure, a process that may take another week.

Officials ended sandbagging in Shiocton and will send leftover supplies to Fremont for ongoing flood response.
