- ➤ A Madison appeals court rejected Attorney General Josh Kaul’s request to stop Elon Musk from giving out $1 million checks today ahead of the state Supreme Court election on Tuesday—Kaul filed his motion Friday. Musk initially said he would pay voters but later changed his plan to award checks to two spokespersons for his petition against activist judges—Kaul may now ask the state Supreme Court for further relief. - ➤ Liberal Judge Susan Crawford said Elon Musk’s giveaway of one million dollars was immoral and an attempt to sway votes at his rally in Green Bay ahead of Tuesday’s election, while Conservative Judge Brad Schimel said he does not control Musk—he is following the law without coordinating with outside groups.
