- ➤ Felicia Jaure, a recent graduate from St. Ignatius Catholic School in Kaukauna, painted a 7-by-38-foot mural of nine saints at her former school yesterday. She said the project honors her faith and credits her school community as she prepares to apply to art schools in the United States and Florence. FOX 11
- ➤ The Fox Cities Performing Arts Center was named among the world’s top theaters, placing 43rd in gross sales and 47th for ticket sales—the honor was announced on March 27 by Pollstar on World Theatre Day. This recognition shines a light on our local passion for live performance. FOX 11
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ A portion of County Road JJ between Lightning Drive and Mary Martin Drive will be closed starting Monday for permanent driveway improvements at Sandy Slope Elementary during spring break. Drivers must detour via Ballard Road to I-41 and County Highway N (work set to finish on Apr. 6). FOX 11
- ➤ A resurfacing project will begin Tuesday, April 1 on a two-mile stretch of Wisconsin Avenue in Grand Chute, with work expected to finish in November. Governor Tony Evers signed the $7.37 million contract to improve pavement and intersections along the route. WBAY
