Education consultant Brittany Kinser and incumbent state superintendent candidate Jill Underly debated in a 90-minute Zoom forum where Underly criticized Kinser’s grasp of state schools and policies while Kinser defended her support for school choice and plans to ease licensing challenges—both candidates are set for an April 1 election.

Neenah licensed an average of 1,280 dogs and 256 cats each year between 2020 and 2024, which works out to about one dog for every 23 people compared with Appleton’s average of 2,537 dogs and 628 cats, or one dog for every 34 people—showing that Neenah has a higher pet-to-person ratio or better license compliance.
