- ➤ Fond du Lac County deputies arrested a 31-year-old Menomonee Falls man on Tuesday after a 9-mile chase through Washington, Dodge and Fond du Lac counties — he is held on charges including recklessly endangering safety, fleeing, bail jumping, operating while intoxicated for a third offense and a probation hold. - ➤ Erik Metzig was in court Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. to argue for the withdrawal of his no contest pleas in the deaths of his parents in Wolf River in 2023 — he claimed he was a victim of sexual abuse, but prosecutors dismissed his claims. WBAY
- ➤ A 49-year-old Allouez man, Jake Reinhard, was arrested in Green Bay on Monday for supplying the fentanyl that led to the fatal overdose of 43-year-old Brian K. Hunnicutt in Freedom on Nov. 3+ he is held in jail facing charges of first-degree reckless homicide/delivery of drugs. Post-Crescent

- ➤ Grand Chute police chief Greg Peterson is retiring after a 44-year career in law enforcement - he served nearly 30 years with the Appleton Police Department and will remain in his role until a successor is named. The Police and Fire Commission is starting a search and will announce the new chief by late summer or early fall. FOX 11
