- ➤ UW-Oshkosh is introducing new programs for adult learners, online students and transfers as enrollment slows to a 2.4% decline since last spring. The school also cleared an $18 million deficit, built a $5 million balance, closed its Appleton and Fond du Lac campuses, and is forming local partnerships & collaborations. WTAQ

- ➤ ThedaCare has launched a Clothing Closet program that provides free clothing to patients leaving hospital care who lack proper attire. The initiative began with a $25,000 grant from the ThedaCare Family of Foundations and now operates at 10 sites in northeast and central Wisconsin + it helps maintain patients’ dignity. WBAY

- ➤ Lake Winnebago will begin its 16-day sturgeon spearing season at 7:00 a.m. Saturday + tests recorded water clarity from 13.8 to 15 feet, though officials warn warm weather may stir the water and affect harvest before caps are reached. WTAQ
