Since 2009, the Old Glory Honor Flight program has welcomed nearly 8,000 veterans home from trips to Washington, D.C. Founded by locals to ease travel from Appleton and nearby, the program will expand this fall to honor Gulf War vets + continue hosting flights during EAA AirVenture.
Mania, a garage band from De Pere High School, is set to perform at Rockonsin after finishing as state finalists last year. The group and other finalists will take the stage at Summerfest on June 19 and June 20 on the Aurora Pavillion Stage.
